Terms of Service.
Last updated: 2026-06-15 · Effective: 2026-06-15
Welcome to PreMedulla, a personal AI tutor for the MCAT built and run by Sean. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms were written by the founder, not a law firm, and will be reviewed by a licensed attorney before any paid features launch. Questions: premedulla@gmail.com.
1. Who can use PreMedulla
You must be at least 18 years old to use PreMedulla. Do not share your account or credentials with anyone else.
2. What the service is and isn't
PreMedulla helps you prepare for the MCAT by analyzing your practice performance, tracking your error patterns, and helping you plan what to study. It uses AI to grade practice responses and surface patterns.
- It is a study aid, not a guarantee of any score or admissions outcome. Your results depend on your own work.
- It is not medical advice and not admissions advice.
- It does not teach content; for that we point you to third-party resources.
- AI-generated assessments can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as guidance to inform your own judgment, not as authoritative scoring. Do not rely on them as a substitute for your own preparation.
3. Your account
You create an account with your email address and a password. When you sign up, we send a confirmation link to verify your email. Keep your password and access to your email secure. Tell us promptly at premedulla@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, or republish PreMedulla's passages, questions, feedback, or other content.
- Share your account or credentials with others.
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the service or its security.
- Upload or submit content you do not have the right to use. In particular, do not paste, upload, or share copyrighted third-party test material (including AAMC MCAT passages, questions, or official prep content). Our materials are original; keep yours that way.
- Use the service to build or train a competing product, or to extract our content for any model or dataset.
5. Intellectual property
PreMedulla's content (passages, questions, feedback, the error-pattern analysis, the study schedule system, and the site itself) is owned by PreMedulla and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for your own MCAT preparation only.
You keep ownership of what you submit (your practice responses and notes). You grant us a license to process and store your submissions to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Our original content
Our practice passages are original works, written from public-domain and openly-licensed source material. We do not use real AAMC passages or other copyrighted test content.
7. Changes and availability
PreMedulla is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may modify or discontinue the service at our discretion. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes when we can.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI assessments will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PreMedulla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Because PreMedulla is currently free, any liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us, which at present is zero.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the courts of Connecticut, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
12. Not affiliated with the AAMC
PreMedulla is not affiliated with the AAMC. The MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges, which does not endorse this product.
